Dividing and conquering between the four walls of the studio to floors across the city, Melbourne’s Steve Bleas is delivering a powerful and devotional journey with melodic, progressive house and techno enthusiasts across the map. Rising musical offerings at his finest, the Australian born and bred producer comes in tandem with a truly passionate approach to hard-hitting electronic music. Releasing across such labels as Recovery Collective, Ugenius and German institution Complexed- it’s remained inevitable from day one of this evocative artist’s career that it is replete with en-route ascendancy.
2018 has been a testament to Steve Bleas’ unparalleled dedicated to the underground music industry, having claimed genuine reception from tastemakers, house and techno devotees and fellow electronic music pioneers. ‘Altitude’ on Complexed, alongside fellow Melbourne techno producer William Kiss relished global acclaim, having been remixed by European duo Hidden Empire and reaching top 100 status on the inaugural Beatport release chart, while ‘Annex’ via Recovery Collective received BBC Radio 1 airplay by deadmau5.
Beyond the studio, Steve Bleas is sonically in tune with the club and festival circuit, booked on some of Australia’s worldly noted events from Babylon and the iconic Solomon after party at Xe54 Melbourne, to coveted spots at Revolver alongside Sven Vath and supporting Pig & Dan, Sasha and Carl Cox. In the summer 2019, Steve will feature at the pinnacle Rainbow Serpent Festival, Piknic Electronic and return to Babylon Festival. With the seasonal transition comes a collage of shows for Bleas, anticipating welcomed festival billing, while an unmatched catalogue of music is underway embracing an introspective, melodic house and techno journey.
